Potlatch banned; sharing of one"s belongings with the community. 2. in your opinion, why would mohawk people of kahnawake, when taking on the role of determenign band membership. Form of dominance which legitaimates and secures the position of the ruling class based on the consent of those ruled. This form of dominance is constructed and sustained largely through ideological means which represent the interests of the ruling class as universally fair and in the best interests of the society at large. Achieved through ideological means (hidden in everyday ideas, beliefs, norms)
