Campaign to deviantize smokers but should deviantize smoking (this is how people are othered) Norms: formal and informal rules of conduct for membership in a group. Folkways: informal rules for acceptable behaviour within a group: etiquette, manners, civil conduct, grooming, verbal/ nonverbal behaviour. Mores: formal rules for conduct within a group: usually codified, i. e. criminal code, by-laws. Conformity: to do what the majority of people are doing to be an accepted member of the group: most people conform most of the time.
