Be a man is one of the most destructive sayings. Masculinity with athletic ability is one of the biggest lies in america. School was training to perform to be one of the guys. People constantly treat people differently based on gender. Culture like movies and tv put pressure on people. Men are taught not to cry in public. Sexism girl not as strong as boy. Treat people differently based on what you are afraid of what you see in in yourself. Boys taught to keep emotions in, not talk about it. 16 year olds start to talk about their emotions. Kids are expected to have sex, do drugs and drink. Boys are more likely to be aggressive when they are depressed. Movies guy seen as strong, quiet guy, Guys are afraid to say or do something as a bystander because they are afraid of being seen as feminine or looked down upon.
