Sociology came out of the french revolution ( &the enlightenment (thinking &questioning the social reality: urbanization &industrialization o. People rose up in the french revolution to try &fight for change. Auguste comte thought of as the father of sociology: believed that sociologists can influence the decisions being made in society &should help better society through their knowledge.
