How we interact with our world is how we perceive it, this perception is unique to each person and their understanding if the situation but not necessarily the truth. If we perceive something to be true we will engage, right or not its what we think is true. Mead: tries to understand what influences people, how our sense of self is created. In order to study complex human experience"s, in order to do this well we: you have to be able to step back and take your emotion out of it must be epithetical and non-judgmental. There is no experience where gender is not a factor. Most feminist scholars are also gender studies people.
