Social dimension: focuses on how social life, habits, social norms, and practices together affect the use of technology and its consequences. Ethical dimension: critically examines how technology can have unexpected consequences that affect adversely people"s lives. Artifacts are objects that have been modified, modelled, or produced according to a set of humanly imposed attributes. Limitations: doesn"t consider that the knowledge required to create, utilize, and transform objects is a different entity than the object itself.
