The nuclear war- threat that technology could destroy us at any time. Cant learn in school because were just staring at a powerpoint and processing is all done on the screen rather than listening to what the teacher is saying. Cell phones are distracting in class to individual and to others. Must be understood in specific social context. Technology can have an intended effect and often another effect occurs that we didn"t expect (cancer treatment=long term radiation)
