As tech evolves, allows up to make our household more technological and to meet our needs. Most technologies we look at have a social part to it. Doesn"t tell u what social is and what technical is. Kids left alone in the afternoon, less time for parenting, so easier to say go play a game. Little detail on how to uncover these mechanisms. Difference b/w people involved in innovation and how the work force works. Haves have the technology and can access internet, have nots are disconnected. Differences b/w countries in adoption and use of technology. Hard to look at: can happen short and long term, at several different levels. Happens w/o us really being aware of it. Social changes as result of tech are new and embedded (in moral) No moral values or direction in itself: multiple uses: Russian soldier fighting at the front against germans, came back and decided nazi germany had to be defeated.
