Enlightenment is man"s emergence from his self-incurred immaturity. The motto of enlightenment therefore is: have courage to use your own understanding. Okay actually wtf is this i do not get it. Article discusses the division of labour meaning that jobs that were once done by one person have now been split up into many small jobs which multiple people do. In particular the author argues that these small jobs are done by unqualified people because they do not need to be qualified in order to do this work. The article argues that manufacturing superseded agriculture production because of the ability to split up manufacturing jobs to the extent that you are not able to do this with agricultural jobs.
