The assumption was that unfit people bred more because they weren"t as civilized. Hitler politically: the lebensborn program (translated to fountain of life") began in nazi. Heinrich himler encouraged ss officers to have children with arian women to make the next generation of leaders. The purpose was to offer young girls deemed racially pure, the possibility to give birth to a child in secret. The children were then given to the ss organization. Of all of the women who applied, only 40% passed the purity test. The women would go to homes until they gave birth. Furnishings for the homes were supplied from the best of the loot" from the jewish homes. 10 homes were established in germany, 9 in norway.
