Workers predictable, e. g. blockbuster"s: malls too: some differences in style, but same feel, franchises (sears, the bay), control: of worker"s movements, environment. Pre- programmed work force: malls: climate, security, crowds, , protests, against mall culture. Contacts, fashions, entertainments: mall is a kids playground! Halloween kids: teens abandon parks, beaches, clubs, museums. Glittery with dangers: hooked on large orgs for entertainment. Slaves to jobs to fulfill wants, life of discontent: dad: turn off tv! book, play, daydream.
