Need watercolour block for the last week of november, delayed arrival until nov. 1st. We refer to positive and negative areas or space. Can elevate a visual exercise into an artwork. Figure was considered to be in the foreground, the ground was the background. On the picture plane the foreground is the baseline. Areas of a composition harmonize when they exhibit similar elements characteristics or designs. Variety creates visual contrast a separation of elements and images. Drawing contour from the model male or female. At the end of the class hand in your best contour drawing 7% of final mark. Quick contour exercises then minimum 3 longer poses. Half an hour is the quickest pose. Draw large so that the drawing o the model is either cropped by the edges of the pictures plane or meets the edges of the picture plane.
