Sexism and homophobia are very prevalent in toxic masculinity. Society is teaching boys and men to not see women and girls as people but to see them as objects. Implied message that women only exist as sexual objects for men. Inability to access a full range of human emotions emotional illiteracy: these (cid:498)feminine(cid:499) qualities have been methodically driven out of boys, not able to be their authentic selves. The guy code: boys are taught these ideas from birth, hegemonic masculinity vs subordinate masculinity.
