Athleisure: a trend of the 2010s or a radical shift in how we view fashion, business casual + athletic wear, durable, may be part of a larger cultural shift. Anti-fashion: ugly clothes, birkenstocks, crocs, prairie dresses triple axel of fashion, some people consider it an offshoot to normcore, but it is much more dramatic, slides with socks. 19th century: monks, mourning, the working classes, white for weddings, black for mourning became entrenched in this century, queen victoria sets trend for white wedding dresses, morning clothes: rules & protocols (see fkc) Both goth and emo use punk elements as well: A variety of 3rd wave feminism, since the 1970s, takes tenant that women can be feminists without ignoring or negating their femininity.
