Knowledge isn"t just something that you discover but in the west we create worlds: our truth might not be telling us what we think it is telling us. American orientalist is much more incorrect and based on abstractions. Not just the west (north america) but britain and france are the occupiers. This is a much different form of orientalism ours is a lot more abstract. Live in more of a dream land that is generated by abstractions. Because the west is so invested in places like is real and don"t have realistic views for us it is almost impossible to see the truth world is geared in a way that hides the truth. We are just getting one version with the news. There are many simple images that are easy to accept - he calls us simple minded.
