Criminology vs. criminal justice system: understand the nature, extent and causes in order to manage and control of criminal behavior (which overlaps with the criminal justice system) Not every deviant act is criminal and not all crimes are defiance. Process perspective argues it is the society and community that causes people to do crime ie suicide in some way can be blamed on society. Structural perspective argues there are flaws in the institution (educational system or otherwise: ie going to a school where teachers do not care /fail the students to give a proper learning platform. Conflict perspective argues that the economy and politics forces crimes: ie carl marx assumes that capitalization that breeds criminal behavior.
