Internal modes of relationships, set of enduring characteristics for making sense of life experiences and interactions with others: memories of attachment-related experiences, beliefs, expectations, attitudes about relationships, plans and strategies for relationships. Positive positive: secure: comfortable with intimacy and autonomy, value others. Positive negative: pre-occupied- possessive of realtionships, seeks approval, security, sexualize children. Negative positive: dismissive- dismissing of intimacy, strongly independent, sceptical of close relationships, hostile. Negative negative: fearful- fearful of intimacy, rejection, socially avoidant, impersonal. Frottage: deriving sexual satisfaction by rubbing one"s genitals or hand, even when fully clothed, against certain body parts of another person, usually a stranger. Fantasy: often fantasize about victims wishing to have caring, affectionate relationships with the frotteur. Symbolism: usually have an ieal victim type (sexually attractive, tight fitting clothes) Ritualism: process involves the victim selection, the touching itself, an escape plan, and masturbation. Compulsion: experience strong irresistible urges to touch others. Treatment only focused on factors relevant to sexual behaviour.
