Media outlets provide us with the narraives or perspecrives (supply symbolic resourceds through which we make sense of the issue) Media industries themselves are regarded as one of the glamour industries in which unpaid work is widespread. Term internships so many qualitaive work arrangements get lumped together under umbrella term internships can be formally linked with a school or a short term posiion with a mulinaional company or business. One hand, employer gets to test drive employee at a low cost and provide training opportuniies intern ges line on resume and foot in door for a potenial paying gig everyone is happy.
