Fables are used in education, they make you use your imagination and provide a moral. Figurative language: language that uses figure of speech: metaphors, similes, etc. Often used to associate or compare distinct things. It describes the animal"s physical nature and behaviours. It elaborates on a moral and spiritual message, and uses these animals as leaders. Power is a key theme throughout all books in this course. Pride and prejudice: the constraints elizabeth feels because of her social standing, and how males only can inherit the estate, causes issues of power throughout the novel. There are power dynamics in social status and social structure. The awakening: heroine of the novel attempts to rebel against power. Green grass running waters: power of stories to change realities.
