Es101 lesson 6: up to 200 buffalos could be killed, by running of cliffs, at once, evolution of tools, quartzite (knife/ arrow head)- obsidian- copper- bronze- iron- steel. Chip edges but can"t create diverse tools. Copper was too soft (became doll fast), not very common copper, tin, bronze could only be found locally. Iron was more common but too brittle: homo sapiens could be found over a vast distance, mobile, what they could do helped them adapt o our cultural changed helped us progress.
