He is asking. “does globalization lead to universal cultural uniformity or does it leave room for
particularism and cultural diversity?
Answer “Locally, symbolically, becomes a specimen of the global structurally.” Simply put, globalization
does not take over the local, but restructures it.
Traditional and local cultures do not diminish with Mcdonaldization. Instead, they take on global ways of
doing and thereby reshape and reform those traditions. In effect, bringing about a revival of the local.
