Document Summary

Goal: achieve social change in 4 aspects: economy: better trade = growth, political: no corruption, social: welfare, cultural. Multilateral: from agencies and ngo"s (wb, imf, un) to governments. Possible reduction in view of resource depletion. All societies have social change hence all develop but oda (official development aid) focused towards the global south. As a living organism : direction, continued, cumulative and irreversible. Evolution runs on stages, more and less developed. It also shows only one path and humans depicted as evolutionary goal. We should consider various goals as possible, acceptable and equally successful depending on needs. We need to move away from anthropocentrism. No idea of social change but change seen as natural in the world. Nature is development, normal progression of change in living organisms. Every change can be reduced to part of a grand scheme (god"s scheme for salvation) All in the same arrow only that in different stage.
