Along the way he stumbles upon other characters that can guide him to his destination. However, these other character such as the buffalo, frog, and wolf need to be healed in order to stay alive. The mouse has something that can heal them which happens to be his eyes. This story shows how much the world needs to rely on others to help each other reach their end goals. The author might have used a persuasive technique while explaining the story to the readers. This would have made the story sound convincing because it could have made it easy to relate to the charters in the story.
