Both made indings about anisepic methods in the late 19th century. Adopted ideas from social philosophy on evoluion and dissoluion , applied to brain funcion. Stated a concussion could be fatal if the injuries physical forces were severe enough. Fatal as a result of cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
