Competition-group students were self-centred, directed e ort at beating others, had closed communitcation, and exhibited group con ict and distrust. Cooperation-group students communicated openly, shared information, developed friendships, and solves more puzzles. Competition is neither inherently good nor bad. It is a neural process; the environment determines its e ects to a great degree. Kids are exposed to competition before they can process what it means. Socialized into a competitive mindset that takes advantage of others weaknesses. Is it a coincidence that bullying and haters are rampant currently. Competition and cooperation are not polar opposites.
