We have difficulty governing global problems that one country is specifically causing
3 Obstacles to better environmental performance
1. Sovereignty
2. Conflicting Scientific Data
3. Tensions between conflicting government priorities = Economic growth objective vs.
Environmental protection objective
When we put them all together, it becomes incredible that we move at all in terms of
environmental issues.
What is Trump saying about the environment? Nothing, and that is the problem because
people are more focused on getting jobs.
