Constitutional functions : to establish which of ces or institutions will exercises certain forms of political authority (legislative, administrative etc) Instituions: regular patterns of behaviour that provide stability and regularity in social (political) lied ; sometime these patterns are given organizational form with speci c rules of membership and behaviour, socially approved power and legitimacy. Constitutional forms/sources: conventions - a constitutional rule based on an implicit political agreement.
