What is a good consequence? (what is the good?: bentham: the good that creates the most pleasure. Since pain and pleasure is important to humans, it is used to judge. Pain (bad consequences) vs. pleasure ( good consequences) Needs are taken care of produces the effect ideal world (alternate world is like reality)
