Compulsion a persistent, irresistible, irrational urge to perform an act or ritual repatedly. Cingulate cortex and hypothalamus activate the ocd impulses. Amygdala drives the far and anxiety, it is the root of ocd behaviours. Mood (affective) disorders: depression, mania, major depression disorder, bipolar disorder. Moods or emotions that are extreme and unwanted. Low, sad state in which people feel overwhelmed. Most people with a mood disorder suffer only from depression. Mri study reduced hippocampus volume memory. Depressed mood and or anhedonia (loss of pleasure)
