Child gets upset after caregiver leaces: declines after 18 months. Anxious-ambivalent attachment: physical emotion needs not met, kids upset when caregiver leaves room, not comforted upon return. Avoidant attachment: needs have not been met, child does not care if caregiver comes or goe. Must resolve a psychosocial crisis: two opposite tendencies.
