Explain how family therapists play the role of parent surrogates and elicit transference reactions from family members. Carolyn and david were very anxious, and they set up a conflict. How therapists can assist family in managing fear, trust, will family. Nurturing relationship early stage we the therapists = surrogate parents, we have to continue to work and nurture relationship. Transference reactions: unconscious process, individuals who emit these behaviours may come aware that they"re projecting their own personal histories.
