It"s by someone who grew up a jain, and no longer calls himself that because he"s moved away from religion as countless others do, in every religious tradition, when they become adults. What i like about this presentation is that it"s critical of the jain religion, but still supportive of the jain philosophy of non- violence. In other words, the person is able to appreciate how religious ideals and practices can affect culture at large, including people who no longer self-identify as part of a particular religion and those who have never done so.
