Race: a group with inherited physical characteristics that distinguish it from another group. Race: myth & reality: skin, hair, eye colour, are arbitrary, the categories we use change over time. Ethnic groups identify themselves on the basis of common ancestry and cultural heritage. Ethnic work: refer to the way people construct their ethnicity from clothing, food, language and the way people practice religion and have holidays.
