Interconnected experiences: race, gender, class, social categories. ** final exam review: december 5th at 2:00 pm in arts 1c17. How silencing keeps the matrix of domination in place. Embodied power and popular culture/how women are represented and the power of socialization. We got into groups and discussed these 3 questions and then presented our information to the class: what is remembrance day and what are we not allowed talking about on. Remembering the male soldiers that fight for our freedom. But there are more things to talk about when you analyze the topic. Our group realized that the role of women was extremely important in the world war as well but they are not credited for this (nurses, comforting, watching kids, manufacturing guns/supplies)
