ā¢A culture may be deļ¬ned as the set of learned beliefs, values and behaviours
generally shared by the members of a society; by society the anyhropologists
means a group of people who occupy a particular territory and speak a common
language which is not generally intelligible to neighbouring peoples. !
-Cultural Relativity: !
ā¢The anthropologists attitude that a societyās customs and ideas should be viewed
within the context of that societyās culture is called cultural relativity. !
-Ethnocentrism: !
ā¢Judging others cultures solely in terms of his or her own ethnocentrism. !
