There are three different types of change: developmental change. Improves existing skills, processes, methods, performance standards: transitional change. Replaces what already exists with something completely new. Requires the organization to depart from old methods: transformational change. Transforms the future state from the current state dramatically. Employees and their mindsets, behaviour, and culture must change to successfully implement this type of change. Often considered the hardest type of change. Two methods of change that companies partake in: theory e. An organization that facilitates the learning of all its members and consciously transforms itself and its context. Learning involves an organization: adapting to its environment learning from its people contributing to the learning of the wider community or context of which it is a part.
