Ex. theory of evolution natural selection (hypothesis) Self- theory: explains cells and how they work: hypothesis = different individual cells. The characteristics of life: robot can walk and function, why is boy alive and not robot, organs, blood, water. Evolution viruses are not alive they can"t maintain internal constancy. No energy use they can hijack to reproduce, evolve and grow. Cells are alive: the fundamental unit of life. Biosphere global ecosystem, parts of planet and its atmosphere, where life is possible. Life shows unity and diversity: evolution ties life together; creates both unity and diversity. Only electrons are involved in chemical reactions.
