The purpose of this study is to invesigate the efects of nocodazole on hyphal (fungal) tip growth of. Ha: nocodazole has an efect on fungal ip growth. Ho: nocodazole has no efect on fungal ip growth: add 300 m nocodazole mixed with growth medium to 2 slides (4 cushions). Experimental: to another 4 cushions (2 slides), add only growth medium. 3: record the ime it takes for the fungal ip to grow 1 ocular unit by taking the ime for each 0. 1. Incubate both the experimental and control slides for 10 minutes. ocular units that it grows. Observe under phase contrast microscopy using 40x objecive magniicaion: record data in the table below. Ha: nocodazole has an efect on nuclei posiion. Ho: nocodazole has no efect on nuclei posiion: measure the distance from the edge of the nuclei to the fungal ip every 30 seconds for 5 minutes for both the control and experimental specimens.
