A lot of the time, after you get the shot, they ask you to stay to make sure there is no allergic reaction. Opv reversion to wild type: some attenuated vaccines can return back to their wild type form *but we do not use attenuated vaccines for some viruses anymore (where herd immunity is not required). For example, the oral polio vaccine (opv) was a live attenuated vaccine that could revert to the wild-type strain that causes disease. Swine flu vaccine and gbs: the eggs that the vaccines are grown in are covered in bacterial cells (fecal matter). They clean the eggs, also because the vaccine is killed, the bacteria should also be killed.
