This makes you feel guilty when you do something wrong. (moral eye in the sky: the superego makes unrealistic demands on people. There is a conflict between this primordial self and this moral eye in the sky. The resolve in this conflict is the ego (you). Some of us are well equipped to deal with this conflict; these are people who behave in a law abiding manner: then there are those act upon there impulses.
