Before i could learn how to teach, i was taught how to learn. My understanding of education stems from beyond my experience with children to my initial foundation of teachers; my father, an extraordinary high school teacher, and my peers. Throughout my life, i have always been passionate about being educated and learning from any person or experience possible. The aforementioned influences in my life were the catalyst to inspiring my decision to become a teacher by always showing me the power of knowledge. They taught me different methods and mediums of learning, and how valuable knowledge truly is.
