Criicized for using that language because she was educated and didn"t truly live the way she wrote about. However, she used her opportunity to be a voice for the voiceless. Was extensively bullied and threatened in the white neighbourhood. Hansberry"s mother watched the house at night with a pistol. And the father fought the respecful part of the batle by ighing it at the washington court. Changed original ending of holding down the house to white mobs .
