Started in 700 b. c. persian empire, chinese, india. Innovation began with ideas, goods-city strives on trade/exchangeshifting materials around. Inventions/innovations started in these trade trips to make it more productive. Money starts moving in form of gold in ships across oceans- coins based on silver/gold but then start putting different materials with copper/tin-you start wanting purchase quality not coin quality-but now designed for redemption.
