Document Summary

Can"t fix a problem until you admit there is a problem. The problem is real: real people are being affected in real places. The challenges are real: the divide between the voices of the streets and those on the negotiation table, the divide btw different groups of countries on what we should do and who should pay, corporate fear. Voices need to be loud and they need to be heard: listen to people being impacted first hand, cop19 march, sept 21 2014, etc. There is hope: voices getting louder, very few things are impossible when we work together to accomplish them, some international success on reaching agreements i. e. kyoto. Need to start talking about who is responsible for which emissions and targeting emitting practises and their perpetrators (i. e. industry transportation and deforestation) not just countries. Stop talking about it as china and india vs the us/australia/canada.
