The german battle was a disaster 80,000 german soldiers died. German male youth was created that were willing the sacrifice their lives. Casualties - january 31 1915 german and french forces 300,000 dead and 600,000 wounded. German side 2,350,000 men in 118 divisions - allied side 3,470,000 in 145 divisions. Of russian army destroyed by these men.
