Youth are seen as somewhat dangerous and vulnerable in our society. The often come under the control of the government as a parent. There is an important parenting role the state has when it comes to children. The state has increasingly taken on roles as a parent. The government is controlled about education, comfort, basic needs of life. It is not framed in such a way to put most of the blame on the youth. Youth under the age of 18, they are not considered to be fully capable of reasoning or being fully responsible. So state said that parents haven"t played an e ective role in parenting and teaching the child responsibility. That can be applied to all forms of criminal justice. Youth crime in canada is dealt with under the youth criminal justice act passed in. 2003 as well as the criminal code of canada. It talks about the response we would have to youth committing crime.
