In canada we agree that where there are situations where one group has put in a disadvantaged situation we can fix that. Instituting a program saying were going to preferably hire women, and visible minority for this job it will be okay. We wont be discriminating against white men. Reversed discrimination: best person should be hired. Issue is hiring for achieving your goals of diversity are not at odds with hiring the best performers. It only is when you don"t know what good performance is. All measures are going to have issues of reliability or random error.
