Rei cation is produced by the culture industry - everything: advertising, art, literature, etc. Children have a strong in uence on parental purchases (love of child becomes seduction) Corporate payoffs to government has eroded the regulatory, legislative, and judicial environment, making it far harder to protect children i. e. : car seat. Little children know brands at young ages, and be come consumers.
