Response Paper This particular reading focuses on social class and the influence it has on the overall health of a population. It aims to address the influence that social class has on health inequalities and also looks at the correlation between socio-economic conditions and life expectancy rates among social classes here in Canada, as well as the impact working conditions have on one’s health. Working conditions can also have an effect on one’s health. The alternatives available to members of the working class are far fewer and more restrictive than those in the upper classes. Regarding health, a person from the working class may delay seeking medical attention when they are sick.
