Currently, we have been at sea for about 30 days ever since we escaped the. Cyclops"s cave where we were nearly eaten alive: we soon arrived at aeolia island where the keeper of wind, aeolus, stays. He gave us a bag of wind, which was created by zephyr blowing into a bag, and the plan was to use the wind to get us home much quicker (10. 25-27). But one of our foolish crew members opened the bag of wind, mistaking it for silver and gold: a powerful gust of wind was formed. I grabbed onto the railing of the ship and closed my eyes, as i prayed, i would not fall off the ship. The wind sent us back in the opposite direction, back to aeolus"s island.
